InfoTrust is excited to announce that three team members have all joined the prestigious ranks of becoming a Google Adwords Qualified Individual! Amin Shawki passed the advanced search and analysis & reporting exams, Jimmy Love passed the advanced search exam, and Michael Loban passed the analysis & reporting exam to earn their certificate. Cincinnati's Web Analytics Wednesday returned last night at a brand new location, Washington Platform, with a pair of brand new guest speakers, Adam Maciasz and Kelly Davis from BrightTag. BrightTag is the leading tag management provider for the top 100 internet retailers.

Our very own Michael Loban will be one of the speakers at the Inbound Marketing Summit (IMS) 2013. This event takes place in the Altman Building in New York City on April 3-4 and attracts marketers, executives, and PR representatives from companies such as eBay, American Express and Xerox. Other persons represented at the Summit are bloggers, media personalities, and digital media experts. In the past, the IMS has been extremely successful - The 2012 Summit in Boston actually began to trend globally! With a wide array of 12 sponsors, including SEOmoz and SAP, this event will be a “marketing revolution”.

As many of our readers know InfoTrust takes community service and corporate responsibility very seriously. When we heard TechOlympics Expo 2013 was looking for corporate sponsors to help local students who wanted to attend but simply could not afford all or part of the $150 registration fee, we didn't hesitate before jumping on the opportunity to donate.

InfoTrust is fully dedicated to supporting both its employees and the community.  I am lucky enough to be the double beneficiary of this generosity since I am both an employee and a charity director.  It's hard to work here in the spring and not hear about Paige's Princess Run 5k.  

One thing everyone asks me about during the interview process for InfoTrust is training.  And, of course, I respond that we love and value internal training.  After all, it’s the only way to stay on top of technology, and a digital marketing company would certainly need to stay on top of technology.  I add that we even have a training session during lunch every other Friday.  However, and I think this applies to many small businesses, we have been so busy taking care of current business lately that our training schedule has been a casualty.  We all know how important it is, but it is also one of the first things to fall off the radar for “real” work. 

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Cincinnati provides a supportive “home away from home” for families and their children who are receiving medical treatment at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center or other area hospitals, regardless of their ability to pay. At InfoTrust, we value the importance of giving back to the local community and those going through tough times during this holiday season, so we brought food and set up a brunch at the RMH on Erkenbrecher Avenue earlier this morning.

Last week we had a terrific turnout at our second Web Analytics Wednesday event in Cincinnati! Many local professionals came out to connect with peers and share stories about web analytics. In addition, we had Alex Yastrebenetsky speak about Google's new Tag Manager and how tag management systems can simplify website analytics.
